Dr. Lina Loong

Dr Lina Loong is an experienced restorative and family dental surgeon with more than 17 years of working experience, and a special interest in paediatric dentistry. She studied dentistry at the University of Manchester under full sponsorship by the Malaysian government, graduating with Honours, a distinction in her final examinations, and the Charles H. Preston prize and Preston Medal for the most outstanding results of her graduating class.

Upon returning to Malaysia, Dr Lina served in hospitals and clinics around Selangor, completing rotations in oral surgery, paediatric dentistry, orthodontics and community dentistry. She values the opportunities these experiences afforded her to serve people from all strata of society and to develop innovative ways of providing dental treatment in challenging situations.

Dr Lina has a soft spot for children and the elderly, and finds particular joy in helping her little patients - as well as anxious ones of all ages - feel at ease in her dental chair. She keeps pace with the ever-evolving world of dentistry through conferences and workshops, and has completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Advanced Aesthetic and Restorative Dentistry.

Outside of dentistry, Dr Lina maintains a busy schedule at her church, where she serves in the music and teaching ministries. She and her husband are hands-on parents, and in her rare moments of spare time she indulges in music, baking and long walks with family and friends.
